How does a climate effect a biome?
The climate and geography of the region can determine what type of biome exists there
Forest definition
High density of trees with lots of layers. Close to the equator
Deserts definition
Dry environment with extreme temperatures. Low rainfall and high evaporation
Grasslands definition
Dominated by grasses but minimal trees. Between desert and forest

Marine biomes that are a major food source
Tundra
Extremely cold. Little plants and animals
