Q

What happens in diffusion?

A

Diffusion occurs when particles of a substance spread out, moving from an area where they are lower in concentration. The particles diffuse down a concentration gradient. Glucose, oxygen and carbon dioxide which all move between respiring cells & capillaries (tiny blood vessels).
