How do you do Benedict’s test?
A
- Cut or grind the food into very small pieces and put this into a test tube
- Add some water and shake it up to try to dissolve it
- Add some Benedict’s solution
- Heat the tube to about 80 °C in a water bath

A
The mixture changes gradually from blue to brick red.
