A scientist that studies fossils.
Herbivore
An animal that eats plants.
Carnivore
An animals that eats meat.

an animals that eats both plants and meat
mold
a hollow fossil form clearly showing the outside features of the organism
cast
formed or shaped within the mold
imprint (impression)
a fossil created by a print or impression
amber
hardened tree sap, often a source or insect fossils
trace fossils
studying trace fossils, we can learn about how animals lived
true form fossils
an actual preserved body of an animal

the process of carrying away rocks

a natural process that slowly breaks apart rock
