GEN- Concerning rearing of the twins, what is a crucial assumption of them and how is this assumption criticised?
A
The assumption is that MZ and DZ twins are brought up with treatment that is assumed to be equivilent. However, Joseph claimed that DZ and MZ twins are raised differently to eachother. DZ tend to be raised as more individually as MZ, which means MZ tend to share more similar enviroments.
Suggests that the difference in concordance rates are likely to reflect nothing but the enviromental differences.
