Q

Example of how natural selection on behaviour

A

Attachment behaviours in newborns promote survival and are therefore adaptive and naturally selected - closer they stay to their primary caregiver the more protected they are

Memory evolved and was adaptive for our ancestors
- they were able to retain information which helped their survival e.g where food, water was located and the routes to them (get to them quicker)

  • retain info about past events which helps us plan for the future and contributes to social interaction and cooperation
