Why did the Prophet go to Taif?
Abu Talid died and Abu Lahab became chief of Banu Hashim so he felt unsafe in Makkah. Taif was the 2nd most popular town, had good whether and good point of view in trade.

It took place after Taif, he was reciting the Quran in Nakhla when a group of Jinns came and heard his recitation, then accepted Islam and went back to their community as preachers of Islam.
