Which bio-d preps are sprays meant to stimulate growth? What are they?
500-501
500: Cow manure
501: Horn Silica
Which bio-d preps are used for compost inoculation? What are they?
502-507
502: Yarrow
503: Chamomile
504: Stinging Nettle

506: Dandelion Flowers
507: Valerian Flowers
What bio-d preps are used to suppress fungal disease?
508: Horsetail Plant
What is preparation 500?
Cow manure, placed in a cow horn and buried over winter. Diluted and sprayed.
What is preparation 501?
Horn-Silica
Ground quartz mixed w rainwater and packed into a cows horn, buried in the spring and dug up in autumn. Sprayed over young crops before maturation to enhance photosynthesis.
What is preparation 502?
Yarrow Blossoms
Flowers are placed in a stag’s bladder, placed in the sun during summer, buried over winter and and applied to compost in the spring to increase Potassium and Sulfur content.
What is preparation 503?
Chamomile Blossoms
flowers are stuffed cow’s small intestines, buried in the fall, and applied to compost in the spring to increase Calcium and Nitrogen.
What is preparation 504?
Stinging Nettle
Tea is added to compost and sometimes sprayed on low vigor vines to increase Magnesium content.
What is preparation 505?
Oak Bark
Finely ground oak bark is placed in a livestock skull and buried in a swamp to ferment. Applied to compost to increase Calcium content.
What is preparation 506?
Dandelion Flowers
Flowers are placed in a cow mesentery (membrane the holds intestine in place) and fermented. Applied to compost to increase Silica content.
What is preparation 507?
Valerian Flowers
Juice from the flowers is applied to compost to increase Phosphorous content.
What is preparation 508?
Horsetail Plant
Tea is sprayed on the plant to counter fungal disease. High in Silica.
