Aim of the experiment is state below. State its:
1. Requirements
2. Observations
3. Conclusion
Aim To demonstrate the Transpiration phenomena with the bell jar method.
- Bell jar, well watered potted plant, rubber sheath, glass plate, vaseline
- Water drops appear on inner walls of bell jar containing potted plant.
- As the pot was covered with a rubber sheet it can be concluded that the droplets occurred due to Transpiration from aerial parts of the plant and not due to evaporation of water from the soil.
