Statement date
Generated for a customer to view 14 days before every payment due date
Billing in advance
Pro rata
- charge for the month going forward
- certain charge (e.g. call charges) will be charged in arrears
EFT
electronic funds transfer
- the date sky notify the bank of how much money is due
- the bill can’t be amended after this date:
1. Credit/Debit card= 24hrs
2. Direct debit= 5 days (or 9 days for 1st bill)
-EFT notice period include bank holidays & weekends
PDD
Payment Due Date
- set by the date of service activation/installation
- change be changed at customer’s request once a month
- date can be between 1st and 28th
Taking payments
Customers may make a full or partial payment
- this is deducted from the overall billing amount and any remainder as normal on the customer’s due date
Amending a PDD
- the impact of changing the PDD depends on how close it is to the next bill
- choosing to pay later in the month will make the next bill larger
Change in PDD more than 14 days before
- the change will take effect on the next bill/ amount will be affected
PDD change 14 days or less before
- change won’t take effect until after next bill
- pop up message will appear to warn the request is in the 14 day window
Changing payment method
Credit card-> credit card: 24 hrs
Direct debit-> credit card: 5 days
3 day off set
Install 29th- 26th payment
30th- 27th
31st- 28th
Unblocking accounts
TV: 4hrs
Phone & BB: 24hrs
