Amendment II
Right to bear arms.
Amendment 1
Freedom of religion, speech, assembly, petition.
Amendment III
No soldiers are allowed to quarter somebody’s home without permission.
Amendment IV
no illegal searches and seizures. Must have a warrant to search or arrest.
Amendment V
Grand juries, double jeopardy, self incrimination, due process, eminent domain. People cannot tried for the same crime twice. No person should be compelled to be a witness against theirselves.
Amendment VI
criminal court procedures. Speedy trial and public trial. Allowed a lawyer.
Amendment VII
Trial by jury in common-law cases.
Amendment VIII
Bails, fines, and punishment. Excessive bail should not be required. It excessive fines. No cruel and unusual punishment.
Amendment IX
Rights retained by the people. People in jail still have the rights enumerated by the constitution.
Amendment X
Rifts reserved to the states. Powers not delegated to the US by the constitution nor prohibited to the states or reserved to the states.
