A

egyptian priest excommunicated by bishop of alexandria becasue he agreed with arianism. Emporer constontine was not happy that the church was divided and called the council of nicea
- they agreed with the bishop and produced a statement of their beliefs - nicaea creed. it confirmed the son was consubstancial with the father
