It is God’s way of communicating with us.
How did we get the Bible?
God “breathed” it into existence (2 Tim 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit revealed it to men, who then wrote it down.

Why is there an Old Testament and a New Testament?
- A “testament” is an “agreement” or “promise.”- The OT is an older and temporary agreement between God and a specific nation of people known as the Israelites.- The NT is a newer and final agreement between God and all of mankind.
