more distal a point along the meridians, the further up the channel it influences
related channels can be used according to correspondence of joints in upper & lower limbs
Wind Bi Syndrome?
Migratory
pain moves from joint to joint
floating pulse
Cold Bi Syndrome?
Fixed and congealing quality
severe, fixed pain
aggravated by cold
reduce mobility of joints
Damp Bi Syndrome?
Lingering nature of dampness (lodged)
fixed pain
swelling of extremeties
numbness of muscle & skin
Hot-painful Bi Syndrome?
Heat, redness pain & swelling in joints Fever, thirst Yellow TC, rapid pulse (Existing problems turn into heat)

liver PO sx?
Stifling sensation in the costal & hypochondriac regions
feeling of a mass in epigastrium
poor sleep with tendency to wake with a startle (Insomnia)
numbness, pain, anger
Kidney PO sx?
muscular weakness or atrophy of the limbs
weakness of the spinal column
difficulty standing for long periods or walking
lower back & knee issues
urinary issues
