What is vibhava?
A
- the conditions or objects which give rise to the emotions

what is anubhava?
A
- includes the performer’s gestures and other means to express the emotional state.
- these may be involuntary such as sweating, shivering, trembling
- these may be voluntary such as deliberate actions or hand gestures

what is vyabichari bhava?
A
- it is the complementary physcological state which exist temporarily in a performance but contributes to the overall emotional tone of the play
- they are 33 in number

What is the difference between bhava and rasa?
A
- bhava is a feeling or emotion whereas rasa is the dominant feeling within the audience too so it can be termed as aesthetic enjoyment.

Why is rasa important?
A
- any dance without rasa will simply just be an exercise of the body with physical movements
- when the dancer successfully conveys the meaning of the dance and the audience reciprocates, rasa is said to be reached
