Q

What is a inductive argument?

A

Where you attempt to show a proposition is a justified true belief through experience. To prove the propositions ‘all zebras are black and white’ we would have to find all the zebras. Prove synthetic arguments but are nearly impossible as you cannot know if you have found all zebras.

Q

What is a priori knowledge?

A

Knowledge of something which does not require experience for us to know it is true.
Used with rationalism, deductive arguments and analytical propositions. Can be synthetic in some cases ‘2+3=5’.
