Agnostic
Someone who does not know, or believes that it is impossible to know, if a god exists.
Atheist
Someone who does not believe in any god or gods, or who believes that no god or gods exist.
Immanent
Involved in the world.

Monotheist
Someone who believes in only one god.
Omnipotent
All powerful
Omnipresent
Present everywhere
Omniscient
All knowing/knows everything.
Polytheist
Someone who believes in many gods.
Theist
Someone who believes in the existence of a god or gods, especially a god who created the world and who acts to influence events.
Transcendent
Independent of the physical universe. Beyond what we can know and experience.
Trinitarian
One God with three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
What is a fact
A fact is something which you can prove to be true, e.g. Paris is the capital of France.
What is a belief?
Something you feel is true but you cannot prove it, e.g. I believe that God exists.
What is the first line of the Nicene Creed?
“We believe in one God, the father almighty, maker of heaven and earth and of all things
visible and invisible.”
