Why is the Qur’an important to Muslims (3)?
-it corrected the previous mistakes of other holy books therefore it is the complete and perfect version of how we should act.
-it contains guidance on how to act such as giving Zakat and fasting during Ramadan, this allows them to please Allah and access Jannah.
-it is the word of Allah therefore it is sacred.
How do Muslims show respect to the Qur’an (3)?
-they perform Wudu ( washing hands and feet) before reading the Qur’an.
-they place it on a high shelf to show its importance.
-it is often protected by a cloth.
Why should the Qur’an be translated (2)?
-it is easier for people to understand and it helps spread the word of Allah.
-stops Muslims learning it off by heart and not knowing what they are really saying.
Why shouldn’t the Qur’an be translated (2)?
-it is the language Allah chose to reveal it in so we do not have the right to change it.
-once you start translating words, the original meaning will become lost.
What is a belief about Tawrat and a quote?
-it contains 613 commandments to teach Muslims how to live their life morally.

-it contains songs and prayers to help Muslims worship Allah.
