what did skinner find within positive reinforcement

A

as a rat moved in a box it would hit a leaver dropping food. the rat learnt that the action of pressing the lever would cause the positive outcome of food

A

a rat experienced an electric current which caused it discomfort.as it knocked the lever it would stop the current. the rat learnt that knocking the lever would remove the negative consequence of the electric shock.

if the child imitates their parents successfully, they will receive praise which will positively reinforce the correct utterances
