Take-Off Briefing Coordination
PF: “This will be a 8,300 lb right seat take-off with flaps approach. 2,397 ft-lbs torque, or 850 ITT. Bleed air off. Vr is 75, Vy is 104. Departing RWY 12, for the Jevon 1
PF: “For any malfunctions affecting safety prior to Vr, or if we have not rotated by A2, either pilot will call “REJECT”, and I will abort takeoff
PM: “I will advise ATC/Traffic”
PF: “Malfunctions resulting in a loss of thrust below 1000ft will be considered a failure immediately after take-off. I will pitch for 90 KIAS, and land straight ahead. Feather on my command”
PM: “I will feather prop and secure engine on your command”
PF: “Malfunctions resulting in a loss of thrust above 1000ft will be considered an in flight failure. I will pitch for glide and consider a restart before landing in a suitable field”
PM: “I will identify the malfunction and feather prop on your command”
PF: “All other checklists and emergencies will be dealt with at a safe altitude”
PF: “Return intentions are vectors for the RNAV RWY 12. No Special considerations. Any questions?
Line Up Flow
Left Seat:

PM: Flap Handle UP or TO/APP

Anti Ice Switches - AS REQ’D
STBY ELEC PWR Switch - NORM
Inertial Separator - AS REQD
Fuel Condition Lever - High idle
Heading - CHECK
Right Seat:
Air Conditioning Switch - OFF
Temp Control Knob - AS REQD
Bleed Air Heat Switch - AS REQD
Cabin Heat Mixing Control Knob - FLT-PUSH
Initiates LINE UP Checklist
