Emancipation Proclamation, because of union “win” their morales were boosted
Why is the battle of Shiloh significant?
It took place near the Mississippi River, this is the first time the union begins to have control over the river^^

Day 1- good ground, 2- attack flanks, 3- line along seminary ridge and eventually try to break Union Line in the center (Pickett’s charge)
What does it mean to “hold the good ground”
Take the top of a hill so you can see everything coming at you
How come the final charge by the Confederacy was such a disaster?
They either over fired or under fired, no point and lost all of their artillery
