Lord Audley intercepted Salisbury and was killed. Henry arrived and Yorkists defected

Oct 1459 - Lancastrian victory
York, Salisbury and Warwick fled and troops surrendered.
Battle of Northampton
July 1460 - yorkist victory
York, Salisbury and Warwick to England w/ 2000 Calais veterans. Won London, went to Northampton. Captured Henry and executed Buckingham

Margaret wouldnt accept act of accord, York, Edmund and Salisbury marched to meet. York killed, Edmund hunted and murdered.

Henry was released to his wife.

Edward beat James Butler, Earl of Wiltshire, Lieutenant of Ireland and Jasper Tudor.
Battle of Ferrybridge
March 1461 - Yorkist victory
Lord Clifford tried to stop Warwick crossing the river. Clifford was killed, Warwick was wounded and Lancastrians fled.
Battle of Towton
March 1461 - Yorkist victory
Fought in a snowstorm, 50,000 men. Henry, Margaret and their son fled to Scotland, Edward saw his father’s head and went to London to be crowned.

April 1464 - Yorkist victory
Percy died, Somerset fled.
Battle of Hexham
May 1464 - Yorkist victory
Somerset was defeated and killed by Montagu.
Battle of Edgecote
July 1469 - Warwick (Lancastrian victory)
Warwick intercepted Pembroke and executed him, as well as Elizabeth’s younger brother John and her father. Edward’s men deserted and he was captured.

March 1470 - Yorkist victory
Edward beat the rebels and Welles was captured and executed.
