Describe the incident of Nakhla
Nakhla was a small valley just outside of Madina.
While Hazrat Abdullah bin Jahash was patrolling the area, he came in contact with Amr bin Hadrami who was spying for the Quraish. Both engaged in combat which led to Hadrami being slayed and a cause for the Quraish to attack Madina.
How did the letter of Abu Sufyan provoke the Meccans to wage war?
Abu Sufyan was passing Madina in a caravan when he feared an attack from the Muslims causing him to send a letter pleading help from the leaders of Makkah. In turn, they marched over to avenge Abu Sufyan even after his safe return to Makkah no one paid head to his call for retreat.

How was Abu Jahal killed?
He was at first injured by Maaz and Muaz (brothers) and was later killed by Abdullah Bin Masood who beheaded him.

1) Rainfall. (Water to drink/ make their ground firm/ make non believer side muddy and slippery)
