Fruit bats - long, lemur-like faces, big brown eyes, crepe texture wings
Leaf-nosed bats - leaf-shaped ears with less elevated nose-leaves than horseshoe bats
Slit-faced bats - trench running from between nose to dish above eyes, long funneled ears, tail terminates in T or Y
Sac-winged bats - simple nose, half-sheathed tail
Free-tailed bats - free tails, joined up ears, crumpled lips
Vesper bats - long enclosed tails, small eyes, separate ears
Horseshoe bats - complex leaf between eyes
