R: Slightly increase lower jaw support. Use faster air stream.

R: More support to dampen the reed. Change the length and/or width of the reed.
A beginning bassoon student is producing a high pitch crow with too few sounds.
R: check the thickness of the reed and balance in the cane. Decrease pressure in the embouchure, more relaxed.
A beginning bassoon student is producing a low pitched crow with too few sounds.
R: change the length and/or width of the reed. More support to dampen the reed.
