Measures the ability of entry level practitioners to respond with information at the rote level. That is, many of the questions tap a basic knowledge of definitions, procedures, rules, tools, formulas, etc, to determine if they possess the basic vocabulary necessary to properly communicate with co-workers.

Comprehension/Application

Measures the candidate’s ability to recognize a concept or procedre, even though it is phrased in different words from those learned by the candidate. The ability to understand the concepts involved whey they are expressed in a varitey of ways is important.

Measures the ability of the candidates to use the concepts in some situations that has not been memorized. This level determines whether or not the concept is applied properly in a variety of different circumstances.
