Refers to the idea that the values, knowledge and behavior of people must be understood within their own cultural context
Cultural Relativism
Accepting all cultures and understanding them
Multiculturalism
Accepted standards of behavior, specific guidelines, behaviors that are accepted by society, may vary from society to society (ex. covering your mouth when coughing)
Norms
Principles that help you decide what is right and what is wrong, general guidelines, principles believed by an individual, may vary from individual to individual (ex. honesty, integrity, courage)
