Ad Libitum Feeding
no limit placed on feed provided for cattle or any species, feeding ‘as desired’
Beef

Distinguished: loose skin & large hump on their backs

the percentage of salable meat compared to the percentage of fat

expressed as the number of feed required to produce one pound of product
Feeder Cattle
Cattle placed in a feedlot to be fed high grains to reach a finishing weight
Freemartin
A sterile heifer born with a twin bull calf. Exposure to male hormones caused the female to be infertile.
