What are the level 9 special requirements on bars?
Minimum of 2 bar changes, one flight element min B excluding dismount, second different flight element min C or Long Axis (LA) turn of 180 degrees or more minimum B excluding mount/dismount, and salto dismount minimum of a B.
What is the maximum deduction for extra swings that can be taken on an element?
Exactly 0.5
Only deduct 0.3 if one extra swing occurs
The coach spots the gymnast on her Pak salto; what is the deduction?
Deduct 0.5 for spot; no value part, no bonus (if connected to something else)no special requirement.
The gymnast does not perform a dismount and just drops off the bar and salutes without initiating a salto; what is the maximum deduction?
Deduct 0.5 for fall; deduct 0.5 + 0.3 off of the start value for missing a special requirement and never doing the salto. Also deduct for missing value part if applicable off of the start value.
What is the connection bonus that can be rewarded if a gymnast does a cast handstand 1/2 pirouette on high bar and connects it to a long swing bale (overshoot 1/2)?
C + C 0.2 Bonus
A gymnast performs a clear hip to handstand connected to a clear hip to handstand; what is the bonus?
No bonus; skills must be different
What are the value part requirements for level 9 bars?
1 C, 4 B’s, 3 A’s
How many restricted D or E elements are allowed on level 9 bars?
They may do 1; if they do 2, the second element receives no value part, no special requirement, no bonus (if connected to something else) and deduct 0.5 from the start value.
The gymnast does a high bar back giant connected to a full twist salto dismount; what is the deduction for choice of bar dismount?
Flat 0.1

Exactly 0.3
