Supersaturated bile, females, obestity, pregnancy, OC(oral contraceptives)
Risk factors for Billirrubinate Stones
Hemolytic anemia + Inf (ascending cholangitis)
Complications of Cholithiasis
Acute Cholecystitis, Biliary Tract inf, Gallstone pancreatitis (stuck on ampulla of vater), Ascending cholangitis

RUQ pain, Murphy’s sign, F, N/V
Complic: Peritonitis/ Fistula tract (=gallstone ileus)
Chronic cholecystitis presentation and complic
Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses (hallmark in gallbladder= because of stone lesions), Porcelain gallbladder (but it’s more common in Ca)
Ascending cholangitis hallmarks
Fever + Jaundice, e.Coli
Cholesterolosis hallmarks
Strawberry gallbladder (yellow specks from cholesetrol)= no clinical signigicance
Cancer of Gallbladder hallmarks
Courvoisier Law (painless and palpable= CANCER), Porcelain Gallbladder, 1% survival
Ca of Bile ducts
Colangiocarcinoma, Klatskin (best Prognosis), Bile duct Cancer
Risk Factors: Liver Fluke (fasciola hepatica), **Primary schlerosing Cholangitis
PAINLESS JAUNDICE!!!
Usually Adenocarcinoma.
