Describe the Dynamics of baroque music
Baroque music contains very limited dynamic contrast. There was Piano (softly) and there was Forte (loud). there was very little in-between.
What would composers commonly decorate the piece with?
Ornamentation was very common as the harpsichord generated a staccato note. They would add trills and mordents to extend notes.
Types of baroque music
Religious singing, Concerto’s (solo instrument accompanied by an orchestra), and Concerto Grosso (great concerto - more than one solo instrument)
