What was the balkan Powder Keg?
It was the rising political tensions in the balkans due to opposing political opinions.
What were the Slavic interests?
they wanted an uprising, also wanted the removal of the turks and opposed the presence of Austria, however they wanted independace with the help of brother russia.
What was Austrian Interests?
They wanted to maintain a their empire but the loss of the balkans spelt out their demise. How ever this brought Austria in to confrontation with Russia.
What were the Turkish interests?
The turks wanted to not suffer the loss of anymore prestige and the survival of the turkish empire was dependant on the surpression of the Slavic Nationalism. Turkey also opposed Russian presence because it would also lead to their demise.
