Where are the semicircular canals?
A
The semicircular canals are set on the top of the cochlear.

How do the semicircular canals monitor your head’s position?
A
As part of the cochlea, these tubes are filled with fluid and lined with hairs, when you tilt your head the fluid moves in response and the hairs pick up the stimuli.
