2012: Bairrada, “Gilda”
50% Merlot, 35% Castelão Frances, 15% Tinta Cão From 30 year old vines planted on clay-limestone soils. All grapes are hand-harvested in the second week of September, de-stemmed with 25 day maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation in 6000L lagar that lasts 10 days. Spends 15 days on the lees and aged in 300L barrels that are 8 years old for 10 months. Not fined or filtered.

2015: Bairrada, “Maria da Graca”
90% Alfrocheiro from 15 year-old vines and 10% Bical (white grape) from 30 year-old vines, both planted on clay-limestone soils. Hand-harvested, de-stemmed and co-fermented with 30 days on the skins. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in 6000L lagar using indigenous yeasts, which lasts 10 days. Aged for 10 months, no fining/filtering. Practicing Organic.
