How do you get salmonela
By eating food which has been contaminated with salmonella bacteria.
How does food become infected with salmonella
Chicken can be infected with salmonella while it is alive or food that has been prepared in unhygienic conditions can get infected
What has the UK been doing to control the spread of salmonella
In the UK, most poltry (e.g. chicken and turkey) is given a vaccination against salmonella.

A sexually transmitted disease (STD)
How is Gonorrhoea passed on
By sexual contact, e.g. having unprotected sex
What are the symptoms of gonorrhoea
- Pain when they urinate
- Thick green or yellow discharge from the vagina or penis

With penicilin
Why has the use of penicillin to treat gonorrhoea become less effective
Strains of bacteria have become more resistant to the pencillin
