Prokaryote
Organisms that are single-celled and have no nucleus.
Bacilli

Any spherical or roughly spherical bacterium.

a form of asexual reproduction in a single-celled organisms.
Endospore
A think walled protective spore that forms inside a bacterial cell and resists harsh conditions.

It takes nitrogen from the air and changes it to a form that plants can use.
Bioremediation
The biological treatment of hazardous waste by living organisms.
Antibiotic
A medicine used to kill bacteria and other microorganisms.
Pathogenic bacteria
Bacteria that causes disease.
Virus
a microscopic particle that gets inside a cell and often destroys the cell.
Host
An organism from which a parasite takes food or shelter.
