What is meningitis?
A bacterial infection of the brain coverings with meningococci.
What is impetigo?
A bacterial infection that involves the superficial skin.
How is active bacteria prevented from reproducing?
Bacteriostatic antibiotics.
How does bacteria survive?
They survive as spores in unfavorable environments, extreme temperatures or very dry conditions.
