What is a MAGNETIC backing storage?
A
The information is stored in a linear fashion, data can be wiped if near to magnets. Usually things like a hard disc.

Information is stored into spirals which has pits, in the pits there’s a ‘1’ the spirals have a ‘0’. Uses a laser to read data and can hold more then magnetic.

A storage device which uses flash memory, there are millions of switches and is shock proof and not as likely to be damaged. Things like USB,SSD cards etc.
