Simnel preteded to be earl of warwick, who was then exhibited in london. John de la pole fled to margaret of burgundy in the netherlands and encouraged her to send mercenaries to invade england.

mild treatment of those who rebelled and used bonds of good behaviour to ensure landowners were well behaved.
