A group of cells with a similar structure and function working together. (i.e. muscular tissue contracts to bring about movement.

A
A collection of tissues working together to perform a specific function. (i.e. stomach contains epithelial, muscular and glandular tissues)

What is an organ system?
A
A group of organs working together to perform specific functions. (i.e. The digestive system contains lots of organs - stomach, liver, pancreas, large and small intestine)
