a drug used to prevent, treat or relieve the symptoms of disease

they can treat and directly kill the bacteria. they do not work on viruses

when some bacterial mutate to become resisten to antibiotics, meaning they cant be killed

what is herd immunity?
A
when the majority of the population is vaccinated so the disease is less likely to spread and infect the population, compared to if only a few were vaccinated
