What is the definition of diffusion?
Is the movement of particles from where there are lots of them to where there are fewer of them

What is the difference in concentration?
Concentration gradient

Name two big molecuse that can’t fit through the membrane

What is the definition of partially permeable membrane?
Just one membrane with very small holes in it
What is the denition of osmosis?
Is the movement of water molecules across a partially permeable membrane from a less concentrated solution to a more concentrated solution
What is the nucleus?
contains genetic material.
The genetic material controls what the cell does.
What is cytoplasm?
where most of the chemical reactions happen.
What is the cell membrane?
controls what goes in and out of the cell.
What is mitochondria?
where most aerobic respiration happens. Respiration transfers energy that the cell needs to work.
What are ribosomes?
these are where proteins are made in the cell.
