The disadvantages are that you must have access to a computer or smartphone and have internet connection as well as an email address, many messages are unwanted, often you can’t send large attachments and the address has to be accurate.

The advantages are that it is cheaper to send than ordinary post, it arrives quicker than ordinary post and it can be used for legal documents as its more secure than email. the disadvantages are that they are usually without colour, you can’t have any moving images and that they are only secure if they are in a secure location in the office.

The advantages are that meetings can be called at short notice as no need for travel arrangements, cost of travel is saved, cost of hiring a conference venue is saved, time spent travelling is saved and can be used to keep in easy contact with employees who work from home. The disadvantages are that initial costs can be high, must be a reliable connection via the internet, some people do not like to be on-camera, a lack of personal contact, and there can be difficulty when handing out documents.
