What is the Pericardium?
A
A fibrous sac which encloses the heart. I internally lined with a serous membrane. (a tissue that secretes oily fluid to reduce friction)

A
It lines the outer surface with a serous membrane.

A
It is constructed of highly oxygenated muscle.

A
It lines the inner surface of the heart with a tough membrane.

A
Blood Vessels: Vena Cava, Pulmonary Artery, Pulmonary Vein, Aorta
Chambers: L/R Atrium, L/R Ventricle
Valves: L/R Atrio Ventricular, Pulmonary, Aortic
Layers: Pericardium, Epicardium, Myocardium, Endocardium
