Azure Service Level Agreements (SLA)
The service provider making certain commitments to the consumer and if not meeting those commitments then there are financial and other penalties associated. Basically promises in Service Level Agreements that when don’t perform those promises, you are entitled to a partial refund.
You have obligations and Microsoft has also obligations. Normally Microsoft obligations are expressed in percentage.
Example: they say they give you a performance of at least 99,9% for a certain service. If they fail that they pay 10% of the service, if its below 99% they pay you 25% and if below 95% they pay you 35%)
Preview features
Have no SLA’s because they can change a lot before going live or even not going live.
There are public and private previews (require registration).
