forms on the forehead
frontal bone
form the majority of the top and sides of the skull
parietal bone (2)
surround the ear
temporal bone (2)
forms the base and lower back portion of the skull
occipital bone
forms the nasal septum
ethmoid
butterfly shaped and centrally located, supports part of the base of the brain, forms part of the orbits or the eye, and connects the other bones of the skull.
sphenoid
form the upper jaw, house of the upper teeth, and connect all other facial bones EXCEPT the mandible

form the posterior part of the hard palate, or roof of the mouth

cheekbones, form much of the sides of the orbits or eye sockets
