- Always stay in the pilot’s view
- only approach if given clearance by the pilot.

Define the AIRMEN acronym.
A
Describes the tactic for fire approach and suppression.
A - Approach from either nose or tail.
I - Insulate/isolate passenger & crew areas from fire using foam/water.
R - Clear rescue access pathways to door using foam/water.
M - Maintain path to enable passenger escape and FF access.
E - Evacuate passengers immediately.
N - Next appliance on scene acts as backup.
