Q

TE neurons continue/don’t continue(?) to respond if….?

Q

Is there one neuron for each individual object?

A

No. However, recognition of objects is based on the activity of numerous neurons each sensitive to different aspects of visual information; it is the pattern of activity of these neurons that represents the visual perception. (remember how many neurons there are and how many interconnections there are between them and the various influences these connections can have)
