- Make sure piston is at TDC.
- Grab the Pushrod and move it up and down.
- Simultaneously tighten the rocker arm nut just until the pushrod stops moving up and down. That’s zero lash.
- Then tighten the rocker nut a 1/2 - 3/4 of a turn further.
