- 1971 - Franz Xaver (“F.X.”) Pichler took over - winery gained most acclaim
- 1996 - F.X.’s son Lucas joined, took over winemaking 1999; F.X. continuing to manage vineyards
- 2009 - F.X.’s official retirement; Lucas took complete control of vineyard management and winemaking; new cellar constructed
